| When you’re invited on a deep sea fishing trip, you say yes! And so we did.Just off the shore of Newport Bay through Tradewinds Charter boats, we caught rockfish, lingcod, cabezon, and many others.The boat captain and deck hand provided all the equipment, set the fishing lines, bait, and toured us around to the best spots. We even saw several whale during the outting.If you’re interested in a completely directed and carefree fishing excursion, this is it. All the fish (and crab!) we brought home as well as fun memories made the trip worth it in more ways than one….and yes, everything we caught tastes delicious. In fact, Stephanie’s favorite fish taco recipe is included in this newsletter that we’ve been enjoying with our catch. Check it out! |
